Flexible rod conveyor belt is constructed of balanced spiral mesh and cross rods, with collapsing links each side. Flexible rod belt is mainly designed for drum type spiral conveyors in food industry for cooling and quick freezing purpose. Whether used on spiral or straight conveyors, flexible rod belt is perfect choice for cooling or freezing products like vegetables, bread and meat. Horseshoe type side chain is very flexible to be used for around obstacles.
Flexible rod belt can also be supplied with a link in the centre of the belt width as well as side guards to work with specific design requirements.

Flexible rod conveyor belt is different than other spiral mesh belt which is made by soft stainless steel for easy machining. Flexible rod belt is all by hard stainless steel wire that have to be formed by special mould and machine. The mould has to be very precise and machine must be maintained well in order to operate well.
Flexible Side Chain
Side chain is special horseshoe type mould design according to support rod specific pitch and diameter. In order to deal with spiral conveyor design, there’s enough blank space on chain plate (space according to spiral drum size and belt design). Plate thickness is national standard to deal with heavy strength on different conditions for long time application.
Flexible rod belt rod is welded on chain plate according to special welding technology for safe and strong. It’s specially optimized for food application purpose.
